Less than a week following the Quebec government passing legislation meant to end it's conflict with the province's student movement and reduce the number of protests in Montreal's streets, hundreds of thousands marched togethe on May 22.
Over 250,000 people of all ages and backgrounds walked together to denounce the government's increase in tuition fees, their unwillingness to negotiate, and the draconian measures of an emergency law that curtails the right to assemble and protest.
These are just a few faces, signs and scenes from that day.
